Note that this list is not in any particular order. Now, without further ado, let us get right into the list.
Best Killers Perks In Dead By Daylight (DBD)
10. Spirit Fury
If you play a Killer whose powers does not assist in chases, then running this Perk is a must. What this Perk does is that, after you break a certain amount of pallets (depending on the rarity of your Perk), the next time when you are stunned by one, it will instantly break the pallet.
Being able to break a pallet immediately can have a drastic impact on the outcome of the chase and can save you a lot of time. This Perk becomes even more powerful when paired with Enduring. All Killers can significantly benefit from running this Perk.
You are resilient to pain. You reduce the duration of Pallet Stuns by 40/45/50 %.
Similar to the previous Perk, Spirit Fury, Enduring is a must-have Perk if you run a Killer whose powers don’t help out in chases. It saves a lot of time being able to swing through a pallet rather than be stunned by the Survivor or chase them for another loop. Enduring counters a few Survivor Perks such as Decisive Strike and Head On; and as mentioned earlier, this goes really well with Spirit Fury. There isn’t really a downside to this Perk, and it works well for all Killers.
8. Save The Best For Last
You become obsessed with one Survivor. Earn a Token for each successful hit that is not dealt to the Obsession. Each Token grants a stack-able 5 % decreased cool-down on successful attacks. You can earn up to 8 Tokens. Attacking your Obsession will make you lose 4/3/2 Tokens. You can no longer gain Tokens if your Obsession is sacrificed or killed.
In all seriousness, this is a great Perk as it reduces the cooldown for every successful attack up to 40% as long as it is not your Obsession. This greatly reduces the duration of your chases and lets you perform other actions faster after attacking like teleporting to a trap with the Hag and cloaking with the Wraith. You do have to stack to get the cooldown bonus; this can be quickly executed by using first hit Killer.
This Perk can be of great help in limiting the escape routes of Survivors. It is able to completely shut down annoying loops which the Survivors love to exploit. It also helps you vault faster, resulting in a reduction of chase times. This Perk is a huge time saver for Killers whose powers offer no help in chases. This Perk forces Survivors to use an alternate route or take the risk of getting hit. This is an excellent Perk as it can have a massive impact on reducing chase times.
6. Monitor and Abuse
Monitor and Abuse makes it easier for you to land first hits on Survivors as it reduces your Terror Radius by 8 meters; that is around one-fourth of the total for most of the Killers. Additionally, this Perk increases your field of view out of chases which makes spotting Survivors easier. This is an excellent Perk as it helps in survivor detection and in reducing chase time, making Monitor and Abuse a great Perk.
5. A Nurse’s Calling
A Nurse’s Calling allows you to see the auras of Survivors who are healing or being healed within a specific range. The range varies according to the rarity of your Perk.
This is a massive advantage as it helps Killers find Survivors when they are defenseless and also wastes the time the Survivors spent for healing and makes chases easier. That is if a chase is required in the first place. This Perk goes well with any Killer but works best on stealthy Killers who can exploit this Perk to its maximum as Survivors will not know you are coming until its too late.
4. Hex Ruin
This Perk was an obvious choice to put in this list. This Perk will buy you more time than any other Perk in the game. Even if it gets cleansed in the first minute of your game, during that minute the Survivors probably were not making much progress. They would not have made much progress on generators or were busy to find your totem. This Perk also increases the chances of you running into a Survivor as they will likely be in search for your totem. The insane amount of time this Perk buys you makes it a very viable choice.
This Perk is beneficial in increasing your objective prioritization as it alerts you when two or more Survivors are working on the same generator by highlighting the generator’s aura for some time (varies according to the rarity of your Perk). You can use this to break a chase after one Survivor which will cause chaos and disrupt the other Survivors eventually halting the generator’s progress. The more Survivors you disrupt, the better. With the help of Discordance, you can make better decisions on where to head next to save the most time. Overall, it is a handy and great Perk.
2. Pop Goes The Weasel
A deep bond with The Entity unlocks great strength. After hooking a Survivor, the next Generator you break is instantly regressed by 25 % of its total progression. Normal Generator regression applies after the damage is done. Pop Goes the Weasel is active for 40/50/60 seconds after the Survivor is hooked.
Pop Goes The Weasel helps in regressing generators. If you break a generator within a specific time (varies according to the rarity of your Perk) after hooking a Survivor, it causes the generator to instantly regress 25% of its total progression; which is around 20 seconds worth of generator progress which is a considerable amount of time.
Being able to prevent Survivors from progressing to that extent just for meeting a simple condition of hooking a Survivor makes this Perk very viable. This Perk works best with Killers who can get hooks fast. Depending on how easy it is to use and how effective it is on preventing Survivor progress makes this Perk very useful.
Barbecue & Chilli
A deep bond with The Entity unlocks potential in one’s Aura-reading ability. After hooking a Survivor, all other Survivors’ Auras are revealed to you for 4 seconds when they are farther than 40 metres from the Hook. Each time a Survivor is hooked for the first time, gain a 25 % stack-able bonus to all Bloodpoint gains up to a maximum of 50/75/100 %.
Barbecue & Chilli is one of the most popular Killer Perks in Dead by Daylight. This Perk is beneficial in detecting Survivors. What this Perk does is that when you hook a Survivor, the auras of all the Survivors are revealed to you for a period of time as long as the Survivors are 40 meters away from the Hook.
It is very convenient knowing which direction to go to after hooking a Survivor. You also get a Bloodpoint bonus each time you hook a Survivor. Overall, this Perk is fantastic, and we highly recommend that you run it.
